The pictures in the first book demonstrate the number of accessible cameras and the range of locations - public, semi-public and private - all over the world. It gives an idea of the amount of control some of the cameras allow; to pan, zoom, focus and compose the image before 'taking' the shot.
The pictures in the second book were taken by setting up access to a selection of cameras and taking a picture at the top of the hour from midnight to midnight. The most interesting thing that happend in most cases was night turning to day and back again, nevertheless, as sequences they capture the ebb and flow of the day.
